Mersiha Avdić-Saračević obtained the title of Doctor of Dentistry at the prestigious Harvard University in Boston, USA in 2005. After studying dentistry, Dr. Mersiha continues her professional education in the field of periodontology and implantology and obtains the title of specialist periodontologist and implantologist and master of medical sciences at Harvard University in 2008. dr. Mersiha became a Diplomate of the American Academy of Periodontology in 2009, which is the highest and most prestigious title that a specialist can receive in the USA.

In her career, Mersiha practices as a specialist periodontologist/implantologist on 3 different continents (in New York, USA, the Middle East-Kuwait and Sarajevo, BiH). dr. Mersiha is a member of the dental associations of the USA, BiH and Kuwait, and a member of the American Association of Periodontists. dr. Mersiha follows all the latest clinical developments by improving herself at conferences, seminars and courses around the world.
